Academic Tutoring

Our Academic Tutoring services nurture learning and boost confidence in a supportive environment. All practice and review are developed to deliver content on the student's level; yet, with just enough challenge that still leads to student success, empowering them to see their capabilities beyond their doubts.
About Our Academic Tutoring

Preview & Review of Curriculum: with access to many of the curriculum texts used in the Savannah area schools, we can help your student look at curriculum either ahead of class as a preview to go in feeling confident and equipped with some background knowledge on which they can build during the class period; or, we can review material already covered, helping to work that information into long-term memory, and also to talk through the parts that left questions and need revisiting and/or re-teaching

Additional Strategies: when one method or approach to learning doesn't click, we introduce different strategies a student can use that will help them still get to their end goal. Like many things in life, we are fierce advocates that there is no "one" way to execute a task, and we will work to find the way that clicks best with your student regardless of how many tries it takes

Multi-sensory: Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic. As often as we can, we will incorporate multi-sensory resources into our sessions that will best support your student's learning needs

Homework & Projects: why have the predictable homework fight with your child when you can outsource it to us? After-school homework sessions offer a chance to review, reteach, and refine skills in your student's focus unit through hands-on, personalized practice​

Study Skills: we use science-backed research to teach strategies to improve studying, such as staggarred, repeated practice to improve the ability to retain and recall information more confidently

on their individual schedule each week. -
​Coaching provides support to students and their families to understand what Executive Dysfunction is and looks like in the brain, provide practice opportunities to encourage EF skill development, and other resources to employ to reach their desired goals.
